The Role
At Lejit, we need a Sr. Lead Full-stack AI Engineer to own the technical direction of an AI-native product line and set the engineering standard.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of 3–5 engineers through architecture reviews, pairing on hard problems, unblocking, and growing future leads.
- Own the architecture: model choice, RAG vs fine-tune vs prompt-routing decisions, and build-or-buy infrastructure calls.
- Set the engineering standard: typed boundaries, evaluation gates in CI, incident reviews, and latency and cost SLOs.
- Make security, confidentiality and client data isolation first-class, as a law firm's clients expect.
- Stay hands-on with the most complex work: integrations, streaming infrastructure and agent workflows.
What We Need
- 6+ years of full-stack work.
- 2+ years leading engineers.
- A record of shipping AI-native LLM systems that people pay for.
