The Role

At Lejit, we need a Sr. AI Product Engineer: a role between product manager and engineer, shipping AI features and deciding whether they should exist.

What You Will Do

Take a lawyer's or client's problem to a working AI feature in days: prompt, evaluation and UI, end to end.
Prototype in code, then make the best prototypes production-ready with streaming, structured output and guardrails.
Own the evaluation loop: golden sets before release, regression gates after release, and written cost and latency budgets.
Turn feedback from founders, lawyers and clients into a diagnosis and fix (prompt, retrieval, model or UX), and remove features nobody uses.
Work with lawyers to define what "correct" means for each legal output.

What We Need

3+ years building products.
The ability to prototype alone in Next.js and Python.
Hands-on LLM application experience.
Strong product judgment.
